The project comprises construction of a new suburban shopping centre comprising a 3,300m2 supermarket leased to Coles; 1,950m2 of specialty shops and a 500m2 medical centre. The construction is predominantly of concrete tilt-up panels, structural steel roof framing and metal deck roofing.
One part of the entry elevation includes architecturally design concrete panels with hand rubbed finished detailing. The project also includes 9,900m2 car parking, landscaping and associated works and extensive building services including on-site stormwater retention systems. Fitout includes the Coles supermarket and landlord areas.
The joint development partners include the Department of Housing and Works, the State Housing Commission, Butler Land Co. and Satterley Property Group. Satterley Property Group managed the project on behalf of Ocean Springs Pty. Ltd., the joint venture partners.
