This project involves the construction of a four storey 28 apartment complex with basement parking comprising one bedroom apartments to luxury penthouse apartments on the top floor. The complex comes fully complete with expansive landscaping works featuring alongside the northern-facing lap pool, gym and outdoor areas.
The complex is approximately 8,500 m2 in overall size, predominately built from traditional building materials such as external block work walls textured finished, metal deck roofing, the balconies are built with full height glazed windows with timber floor coverings taking full advantage to the river views.
After tender Pyramid was placed into a preferred builder status and worked for three months with the client and design team to reduce construction costs by approx. 15%. Due to the high water table and the potential high cost of dewatering over extended periods the foundation design was reviewed and as a result it was changed to a piled option. This reduced time and costs.
